Explaining GIF & JPEG Formats using Presentation Software

Competency 1.04 required the candidate to explain to an audience that is new to technology when and why it is better to save an image as a "GIF' or a "JPEG". The product required answers tothe following questions:

What are gifs and jpegs?
Why are gifs and jpegs important?
How are gifs and jpegs alike?
How do gifs and jpegs differ?
When to store images in "gif" vs. "jpeg" format? and
What is transparency?

To satisfy this requirement, I used presentation software ( PowerPoint) to create a computer-based presentation of at least five displays that includes transitions, builds, clip art, and at least one digital image as was specified in the requirements for Competency 1.10.
